Can Goodwill Help Me Learn Online?

Goodwill is currently working to create opportunities for online learning.

Some local Goodwills are participating in a self-paced online learning program launched in 2003. Known as the Goodwill Virtual Community, the e-learning program was designed to help people find, maintain and advance their employment opportunities. It was funded by an $850,000 Technologies Opportunities Program (TOP) grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Contact your local Goodwill to find out if the Goodwill Virtual Community e-learning program is available to you.

GCF Global LearningGCF Global Learning®, an e-learning web site owned by the Goodwill Community Foundation is a free web-based computer and career-training program for beginning computer users. You can take self-paced lessons or register for free instructor-supported classes. Some classes are offered in Spanish.  Log on to the site to learn about the classes, which include Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint. The site is administered by Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina.
