Coastal Grandmother is the Trend Keeping Us Going Into Fall

There are some sub-trends that are true gems, with staying power that can last a while. While some may have gravitated towards the Y2K return of low-rise denim and butterfly patch crop tops, others have dug into the elegance of minimalism, with a slightly nautical flair. Coastal Grandmother is the trend taking over the summer, something that will last into the fall for students, parents, and teachers alike.

Y2K, the futuristic fashion trend from the late 90s and early 2000s is back, and an identifying factor of Gen Z. Pride Month Outfit Inspiration from Real Goodwill Shoppers

For many, June is a month-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, and how far we’ve come as a society in getting them the rights and recognition they deserve. Pride Month serves as an opportunity to raise awareness to barriers that the LGBTQ+ community still faces, especially in recent months with different legislation being introduced around the country. Plants With A Punch

In effort to keep myself interested in the well-being of these tiny bits of prickly paradise, I figured I might pay attention more if they were planted in unusual little pots. Why Sustainable Shopping Should Include Repairs

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means for something to be “new.” The most frequent way we hear about it in terms of clothing is something that’s “new with tags.” What I’ve learned from my years of thrifting is that you can find things still new with tags at second-hand stores like Goodwill®.

HOW SHOPPING AT GOODWILL CAN HELP YOU DO YOUR PART FOR THE PLANET

Municipal solid waste landfills, aka landfills that accept household trash, are the third-largest source of human-related methane emissions in the United States. In 2019, the United States alone accounted for more than 15% of these emissions – which have been proven to have a detrimental impact on warming temperatures across the globe. This Earth Week, it’s important to understand the truth in these statements, which can sometimes start to feel blanketed instead of something that directly influences our everyday lives. It’s also important to re-learn, or for many, learn for the first time how you can incorporate the ‘3 Rs’ reducing, reusing, and recycling, into your life in a way that benefits both you and the environment.
