Dania Velazquez knew she needed training and certifications to verify her skills and get started on her chosen career path, but her work schedule did not allow her to attend traditional classes. The first step on her journey was to attend a local hiring event, where she learned of the Goodwill Industries of Tulsa (OK) TulsaWORKS Google IT Support Professional Certificate program.
While the coronavirus pandemic has impacted nearly every area of life, it has not resulted in a loss of compassion. As a recent collaboration of Ringling College and Goodwill Manasota shows, the community’s prolific desire and willingness to help others has remained “virtually” unchanged.

As the San Antonio community recovers from the economic challenges resulting in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Goodwill San Antonio’s Good Careers Academy is collaborating with Project Quest to help provide vocational training to individuals whose livelihood was negatively impacted by the pandemic.
