Build Your Maternity Collection at Goodwill®
You know that thrilling retail therapy feeling? The excitement of making a great purchase? That feeling eluded me last fall when my growing belly screamed out for maternity-wear. Staring at big price tags on pieces of clothing that would only fit for a few months, I cringed as I made those first few maternity-wear purchases. Then, the face-palm moment struck and I realized that I could be saving money by getting some great barely-worn maternity items at Goodwill!

Wedding Accessories on a Budget at Goodwill®
Wedding season is just around the corner and most 2015 brides are already knee-deep in the planning process for their big day. Set Yourself Up For Success With Goodwill®
A huge part of success is preparation. It’s rare that a person makes a major accomplishment without at least some sort of planning and thoughtful execution. Thrifting for Men
I started thrifting alone as a way to pass time while I waited for my husband to finish up a class he was taking. Soon I found that thrift trips are even more fun with a friend along for the ride. But I didn’t ask my husband to come Goodwill® hunting with me for a
Simplify with Winter Whites
Henry David Thoreau said “Simplify, simplify, simplify.” While most of us will find it difficult to reduce our lives to a level that the famous writer would approve of, there are many lessons we can – and should – take from his perspective. No, you don’t have to move to the woods and build a cabin. Let’s start with something easier: when in doubt, pick white! Painting a wall? Choosing a sweater? Going bold is fun, but if you find yourself hemming and hawing over a color decision, keep it simple by choosing white.
